Why not take in all the Blue Mountains has to offer?

Mt Victoria Montage

This page details the 'Blue Mountains Way' - encompassing the Blue Mountains circular drive from the point where you leave the M4 after crossing the Nepean River at Penrith, up the Great Western Highway, through historic villages including Spingwood, Hazelbrook, Wentworth Falls, Leura and Katoomba to mention a few, through Blackheath to Mt Victoria and then across 'The Causeway' skirting the head of the Grose Valley to Bell and back across the Bells Line of Road, running along the ridges bordering the Grose Valley via Mt Tomah, Bilpin and Kurrajong to Richmond and Windsor.

As we build this information we will take you on that journey with a few suggested detours ... including a ride on the Nepean Belle, a number of waterfalls and canyons, a short steam train ride from Clarence on the Zig Zag Railway to the outskirts of Lithgow (historically Australia's original Iron and Steel town), then past Bell ....

where you might be tempted to take a slight detour to the majestic rainforest surrounds and exotic cold climate gardens of historic Mt Wilson and possibly on to Mt Irvine for the more intrepid, before returning to the Bell's Line of Road to take in a visit to the magnificent Mt Tomah Botanical gardens, through the apple orchards of Bilpin, then catch the breathtaking views at Kurrajong Heights during your descent back into the Hawkesbury Valley (actually the Nepean Valley or vice versa!) at historic Richmond and Windsor.
